Allen Gwynnes Pump
Allen Gwynnes Pumps was founded in 1880 by W. H. Allen Group Ltd of UK.
We have been the manufacturer of end suction “Nimbus” Pumps in Malaysia since 1976. We were acquired by PumpOne Engineering Sdn Bhd since 2007 and currently operate in many major buildings and factories in Malaysia as well as overseas.
We are a one-shop manufacturer with complete casting, machining, assembly and testing process under one roof. Our in house application engineers are ready to support your needs and will work out feasible pump-solutions for your project. We also support our customers for installation and maintenance if required.
Over the years, Allen Gwynnes Pumps have been growing steadily; broadening its range of services and constantly accelerating innovations in all aspects to maintain an exponential growth in the driving force of new technology in today’s world. It is our aim to provide clients with a high quality service, delivering reliable and trustworthy services with a dynamic approach to meet the clients’ ever-changing needs and expectations.
AGL-Series Hydro Cyclone Pumps
Hydro-cyclone pump is used to pump abrasive solid such as sand and it will damage the pump. The output of the cyclone pump with respect to drive the system is rather low at 20% – 30%. Subsequently, the application is recommended for cases in which energy cost are not significant, for instance when the pump is small part of a large system. Cyclone pump is applied to the continuous pumping of sand-water mixtures for sand flume and river scale models with movable bed. Cyclone pump is able to separate solids from the flow and treated qualitatively.
- Oil industry separate oil from water or vice versa.
- Metal working to separate metal particles from cooling liquid.
- To remove sand and silt particles from irrigation water for drip irrigation purpose.
- In drilling industry to separate sand from the expensive clay that is used for lubrication during the drilling.
- In pulp and paper mills to remove sand, staples, plastic particles and other contaminants.
AGL-Series Sand Cyclone Pumps
Hydro cyclone to work a peak efficiency the volume of slurry and the pump delivery pressure remain constant. Cyclone pump is allowed to surge, the up and down pressure will cause poor separation at the point of high and low operating pressure.
AGL 40/380C is design in high efficiency volute with self-Venti Vertical Centre line discharge. The impeller and casing, is equal at all the points. This kind of design will help reduce turbulence, cavitation. This design can benefit casing life is greatly extended especially in abrasive service. This pumps is used closed impeller type. We are upgrading the impeller size from 320mm to 380mm. The purpose is for running high pressure low speed pumps coupled with excellent wear resistant material has enable the pumps to operate in this very abrasive application. The pump with the bigger impeller will be able to achieve an extra 1 bar pressure at a typical operating capacity at 30m3/hr.
For the shaft side, the large diameter shaft design to take full load stresses with minimum deflexion. Fully machined and ground section which fine finishing and dimensional tolerance and critical. The shaft end design is benefit to tapper lock pulley. This pump is suitable for Sand Cyclone Pre-cleaner application.
AGN-Series End Suction Pumps
AGN stands for Allen Gwynnes Nimbus End-Suction pump (Most Famous Pump in Malaysia). This is a single stage end-suction type designed for a wide variety of application. Spare part stocking is cut to minimum through a high interchangeability of manufactured components. The standard casing mounted arrangement features “Back Pull Out” when a spacer coupling is used.
- Chiller & Condenser Pumps
- Cooling Tower Pumps
- Transfer System
- Swimming Pool Pumps
- Fire Fighting
- Palm Oil / Agriculture
- Hot And Cold Water Circulation
AGNS-Series End Suction Pumps (DIN Standard)
AGNS is a single stage end-suction centrifugal type designed for a wide variety of application. The standard is DIN 24255. The temperature limit for this series is 80C for standard material. The casing test pressure is 150% maximum allowable pressure. The standard casing mounted arrangement features a “Back Pull Out” facility with a spacer coupling used.
AGP-Series Process Pumps
AGP stands for Allen Gwynnes Self-Priming pump. This is a single stage end-suction centrifugal type is designed for a wide variety of application. Spare parts stocking is cut to minimum through high interchangeability of manufactured components. The standard casing mounted arrangement featured “Back Pull Out”. The end shaft diameter is designed to fit the tapper lock pully. This pump is using a Semi and Fully Open impeller. The impeller is suitable for handling solid application and large diameter shaft are designed to take full load stress with deflation. It is fully machined and the ground section where finishing and dimensional tolerance are critical.

AGS-Series Split Casing Pumps
The AGS is stand for Allen Gwynnes Split Casing Pumps. The Casing is axially split, which permits removal of the complete rotor without moving eigther piping or motor. Pumps generating high heads have double volutes to reduce radial forces, ensuring minimal shaft deflection and low bearing loads.
